Outlook automatically saves drafts every few minutes, which can sometimes lead to duplicates. If Fyxer AI drafts messages in parallel, you might see two versions of the same draft.
Here are some other possible reasons and solutions:
1. Email Threading or Conversation View Is Disabled
Fyxer relies on conversation threading to group related emails and drafts together. If threading is turned off, you might see multiple drafts appearing separately.
Fix for Outlook: Go to View > Show as Conversations and enable it.
For Gmail: Click the settings cog in Gmail, scroll down, and enable Conversation View.
2. Re-categorizing an Email Manually
If you manually change an email’s category (e.g., from "FYI" to "To Respond"), Fyxer may generate a new draft while keeping the old one.
Fix: Check if a draft already exists before re-categorizing emails.
3. Sync Issues in Outlook or Gmail
If your email client is experiencing sync delays, it may cause Fyxer to generate multiple drafts unintentionally.
Fix: Refresh your inbox or log out and back into your email account.
4. Drafts Not Being Cleared Automatically
Some users manually save drafts, which can cause Fyxer to generate a new one when it processes the email again.
Fix: Always send or delete Fyxer-generated drafts after reviewing them.
