Fyxer AI can only draft replies from inboxes that are fully connected. If you’re using an alias or alternate email, we need access to that specific inbox to generate drafts correctly.
Adding an alias under “Alternate Emails” helps Fyxer recognize that those emails are you, but it doesn’t give Fyxer permission to send from that address unless it’s connected.
Two Ways to Draft from Multiple Addresses
Option 1: Connect both inboxes
If you use multiple email addresses regularly:
Go to Settings > Integrations in your Fyxer AI Dashboard
Click Connect Email
Add each address you want Fyxer to draft from
Fyxer will draft from the correct address based on which inbox received the email
Option 2: Switch your primary Fyxer account
If you only want to use one inbox going forward (e.g., Address B):
Delete your current Fyxer AI account (linked to Address A)
Sign up again with Address B
In Settings > Preferences, add Address A as an Alternate Email
→ Fyxer will recognize emails sent to Address A as yours but reply from Address B
What Fyxer Can’t Do (yet)
Fyxer can’t draft a reply from Address B to an email received at Address A unless both are connected
We can’t access shared or group inboxes (like info@company.com) unless they have their own login
Workaround for shared inboxes: forward the email to your connected inbox and draft from there - but note the reply will come from your personal address.
