Fyxer AI can only draft replies from the email address that received the original message, as it needs access to that inbox to function properly.
If you’ve added aliases under “Alternate Emails”, this helps Fyxer AI recognize that those emails are you - but it doesn’t allow us to draft replies from those addresses unless they’re fully connected.
Two workaround options:
Option 1: Connect both inboxes to Fyxer AI
Go to Settings > Integrations
Click Connect Email
Add Address B as an additional connected inbox
Keep Address A as a connected inbox as well
With both connected, Fyxer AI will draft replies from the correct address depending on which inbox received the message.
Option 2: Switch primary account (if you only want to use one inbox)
If you mainly operate from Address B and want Fyxer AI to always draft from that address:
Delete your current Fyxer AI account (linked to Address A)
Sign up again using Address B
Once signed in, go to Settings > Preferences > Alternate Emails and add Address A as an alternate email
This way, Fyxer will treat Address A emails as “you,” but always draft from Address B.
Fyxer AI currently cannot draft a reply to an email received by Address A and send it from Address B. Each email account must be connected directly for us to generate replies from it.
Note for shared or group inboxes:
If you’re trying to connect a shared inbox (e.g. info@company.com) and don’t have login access, you won’t be able to connect it directly to Fyxer AI. These inboxes must have their own credentials to be integrated. If that’s not possible, we recommend forwarding emails to your connected inbox as a workaround, but note that replies will still be drafted from the connected account - not the shared one.
