Editing Vendor Product Prices in the Pantry
Vendor product prices can be edited directly in a Pantry view that includes the Price column. The price applies to the vendor product. Ingredient and recipe costs are calculated from the products linked to them, so they update automatically when product prices change.
How to Update a Price
Open a Pantry view that includes the Products data type and the Price column.
Click the text field in the Price column for the product.
Type in the updated price.
Press Enter or click outside the cell to save.
What Changes Downstream
Recipes using this product: cost per serving recalculates with the new price.
Pending orders: prices on unplaced orders update dynamically until the order is placed.
The change does not affect placed orders, existing inventory valuation, or past production records.
