What is a custom product group?

A custom product group is a way for you to define the universe of user feedback you want to analyze. Instead of analyzing all feedback within a Gartner-defined market, you can analyze user feedback on a group of products

When to create a custom product group

You may want to create a custom product group if you:

  • Are not fully represented in pre-defined Gartner markets

  • Are at the intersection of multiple Gartner markets

  • Are in a niche or emerging market that is not covered by Gartner

  • Want to explore expansion opportunities into new markets

  • Want a more tailored view of their Gartner market i.e. only select products

How to create a custom product group

To create a custom product group click on the Market filter and scroll down and select the option Custom Product Group. Name your group and add at least three products to include in your analysis.
