Dispatch alerts

The Dispatch module includes an alert system that notifies users via email and/or text when certain criteria are met within a dispatch event.

Alert Type: Standard Alert

Triggered based on various dispatch field values. This alert type is similar in setup to Incident Report alerts.


Alert Type: Lift Down Alert

Triggered when all three criteria are met:

  1. The event type is Lifts;

  2. A time is entered in the Lift Stopped At field;

  3. The event includes the specific lift assigned to the alert.

Additional options for lift down alerts:

  • Alert Generation Frequency – choose how often the alert should repeat.

  • Maximum Number of Times Alert Will Generate – optional field to limit repeats. If left blank, alerts will continue until a time is added to the Lift Started Back Up At field.


How to manage dispatch alerts:

  1. Select Dispatch > Alerts from the side navigation.

  2. Click the New Alert button in the top right-hand corner.

  3. In the panel that opens:

    1. Enter an alert name.

    2. Choose an alert type (standard or lift down) – the fields that appear will vary depending on your selection here.

    3. Configure your alert criteria.

    4. Click Save.

  4. To modify or delete an existing alert, click the hyperlinked alert name from the table.


How to subscribe/unsubscribe to an alert:

  1. On the Alerts page, click the Subscribe button next to the alert name.

  2. To unsubscribe, click the button again.

  3. Alerts will be sent to the email address and/or mobile number associated with your user account.
