Most of the reports available in the app will look familiar if you've used paper-based forms before β€” EDGEauditor has taken those same forms and made them available digitally. This guide covers how to work with non-incident reports.

Starting a new report

  1. From the app home screen, select New Report.

  2. A list of available reports will appear. Scroll through the list and tap the report you want to open.

    • Some reports are grouped into folders. If you see a "+" next to a name, that's a folder. Tap the folder name (or the "+") to expand it and see the reports inside.

Linking to an incident report

Some reports can be linked to an incident report. If this option is available, you'll see a blue Link to Incident Report button at the bottom of the screen. Here's how to use it:

  1. First, select this button.

  2. A search box will appear. Type in the patient's name or the incident report number - results will update automatically as you type.

  3. Select the correct record from the results to link it. Once linked, the button will change from blue to white and will display the incident report number it's connected to.

To remove a link: Select the button again. This will unlink the incident report. Tap it once more if you'd like to link a different one.

Need to link to more than one incident report? This can only be done through the Manager Dashboard. See Manager Dashboard: Linking a report to an incident report for how to do this.

Viewing previous submissions

If the option for staff to view past submissions has been enabled for the report, you'll see a blue Previous Reports button at the bottom of the report screen.

  1. Select the button to open a list of previous submissions.

  2. By default, only the last 30 days of submissions are shown. To view older records, choose "Select Date" at the top of the screen and select a different date range.

  3. Select any entry from the list to view the details from that report.
