How to link a report to an incident report

  1. Locate the report you want to link an incident report to. You can find it in one of two places:

    • Reports > View All Reports, or

    • Pending Submissions > Reports & Inspections

  2. At the top of the report, click the Incident Report drop-down and select Manage Linked Incident Reports.

  3. In the panel that opens, use the search box to find the incident report you want to link to. You can search by Incident Report # or Patient Name.

  4. Check the box next to the correct incident report, then click Submit to save.

  5. To verify the link, click the Incident Report drop-down again - the linked report will now appear there. Click the link to open the incident report in a new browser tab.

How to change or remove a linked incident report

  1. Locate the report you want to update. You can find it in one of two places:

    • Reports > View All Reports, or

    • Pending Submissions > Reports & Inspections

  2. At the top of the report, click the Incident Report drop-down and select Manage Linked Incident Reports. Any currently linked incident reports will be displayed here.

  3. Use the search box to find the incident report you want to add, change or remove. Then make your updates:

    • To remove a link: Find the linked incident report and uncheck the box next to it.

    • To add an additional link: Find the new incident report and check the box next to it.

  4. Click Submit to save your changes.

  5. To verify your changes, click the Incident Report drop-down again - it will now reflect your updates.
