How do I turn off push notifications?

Since push notifications are controlled by your device, you'll need to go to your phone's settings to turn them off, rather than inside the Chip app.

Don't worry, you'll still get important updates from us via email (e.g. such as updates to our terms and conditions), as we need to send these for regulatory reasons.

The exact path will depend on your device, but here are the steps for the most common phones:

iPhone
1. Go to your phone’s Settings app.
2. Scroll down to the list of apps and tap on Chip.
3. Toggle the "Allow Notifications" switch to the off position.
Android
1. Go to your phone’s Settings app.
2. Tap Apps (or Applications / App Manager).
3. Find and tap on Chip.
4. Tap Notifications.
5. Toggle the master "Allow notifications" switch to off, or select and disable the specific notification types you don't want to receive.
