Which banks can I connect to?

Find out which banks you can securely link to Chip using our Open Banking providers.

We aim to make connecting your account as easy as possible! We support connections to a wide range of UK banks through Open Banking, allowing you to link your current account securely to Chip.

You can connect the following banks as your linked bank account:

  • Bank of Scotland

  • Barclays

  • Chase

  • Danske

  • First Direct

  • HSBC

  • Halifax

  • Lloyds Bank

  • Monzo

  • Nationwide

  • Natwest

  • RBS

  • Santander

  • Starling

  • TSB

  • Ulster Bank

The banks we can connect to are determined by the capability of TrueLayer (our Open Banking provider) to ensure a stable and secure connection, and whether the bank itself has a fully functioning Open Banking API (Application Programming Interface).
