Receiving offers from within GIC is the simplest and most seamless way, but you can also upload external offers you may have received from agents outside the GIC system. The below video walks you through both scenarios.
Offers Submitted in GIC:
Offers received within GIC will appear automatically in the Documents Tab, and each will be created in its own Offer folder on the left hand side.
Click into any received offer to review the relevant offer documents.
Review our article on Accepting, Countering, and Rejecting offers for more detail on how to interact with the offers you receive.
Offers Submitted Externally:
Offers received externally, from agents using other systems, can still be managed in our system.
Add an external offer by clicking the 'New' button on the right side of the transaction screen.
Select '+Received Outside Offer'
Upload the PDF of the CBS, and indicate whether it has been mutually executed. Click 'Continue.'
Fill in any relevant offer detail fields, then click 'Continue.'
Input any dates from the CBS Dates & Deadlines, then click 'Finish.'
You will now see that an offer folder has been created for the manual offer, and the folder contains the CBS you uploaded.
You can configure signature fields to accept this offer by clicking into the offer document, and clicking 'Configure Fields' at the top of the screen.
Scroll to the signature box and then select 'Signature' from the left hand menu.
Drag the signature box to the correct location, and check the details in the right hand menu to ensure your client is selected for the Identity.
Click 'Done Editing.'
