The $ signs prioritize practice for students.

The $ signs that appear on the colored squares in Get More Math indicate the skills that a student needs to practice.

GMM places the $ signs on the skills that a student needs to practice.

Only $ sign squares are worth a point. Squares without a $ sign are not eligible for a point.

To earn a point, a student must solve the problem for the $ sign on the first try.

If a student does not solve a $ sign square on the first try, the student must correct the mistake, but the problem is no longer worth a point.

After solving a problem correctly, Get More Math will automatically move the student to the next problem that he/she needs to solve with a $ sign.
