graphing help

Updated over a week ago

If the problem is limited to the first quadrant, then the slope needs to be considered to determine whether a segment or ray should be used. If the slope is positive, students must use a ray. If the slope is negative, students must use a segment.ย

If the problem provides a graph of the entire coordinate plane, then students will need to use a line.

There are some unique skills, and a best-practice is to solve a few problems of each skill before assigning to your students. This way, you can explain and model how the problems should be answered.

When graphing in one quadrant or in four quadrants, students have a drop-down at the top of the screen. From the drop-down, students will choose line, segment, or ray.
