Why would I switch my students to Mixed Review?
Why would I switch my students to Mixed Review?

Valuable cumulative and prioritized practice for each student

Updated over a week ago

The button SWITCH TO MIXED REVIEW moves the entire class to Mixed Review. A teacher moves the class to Mixed Review to ensure that students spend adequate time in Mixed Review. Mixed Review points encourage long-term retention of concepts.

Teachers should always switch the class to Mixed Review before the students leave for the day, preferably while students are working in class.

By clicking SWITCH TO MIXED REVIEW, teachers ensure that students do not get 'stuck' at home. Students will have Skips available when the teacher is not online. Skips are NOT available for assignments.

If a teacher has other assignments available from Assignments, students may choose to work on another incomplete assignment rather than earn points in Mixed Review.

To use the SWITCH TO MIXED REVIEW button, choose CLASSES from the blue ribbon. SWITCH TO MIXED REVIEW is the second item in the middle gray column.

At a glance, the green clock icon (in the left column) shows that two classes are working in Mixed Review and one class is working on the assignment called Slope 1.2. The teacher will click SWITCH TO MIXED REVIEW to move the entire class to Mixed Review.

If the teacher has other assignments available AND the student has not completed those available assignments, the student may choose to Change Assignment from Mixed Review or may use Skips if the teacher is not online.
