Updated over 4 months ago

Proficiency is a growth measure used to demonstrate long-term retention.

Proficiency is accuracy over time and is indicative of long-term retention. Proficient students are demonstrating accuracy over time by earning green, silver star, or gold star on a skill (square).

To view a class' proficiency for a skill

Choose CLASSES from the blue ribbon.
Choose a class from the left column.
Choose Spiral Review from the middle column.
Choose a skill from the report and view the Proficient Students percentage.

The Proficient Students column displays the percentage of the total number of students who have reached green, silver star, or gold star for each skill.

By clicking on the percentage or opening the sample problem, teachers can view which students are proficient and which students are not.

To view individual student's proficiency on a skill

Choose CLASSES from the blue ribbon.
Choose a class from the left column.
Choose Student Data from the middle column.
The first view is the class-at-a-glance report, and by clicking on a student's name, teachers may view the in-depth individual student data.
