By deactivating OR deleting a skill from Spiral Review, the square is removed from students' screens.
Deactivating the skill (using the slider) allows teachers to quickly add the skill back to Spiral Review, if the teacher chooses to do so at a later date. Deactivating a skill preserves the data for the skill.
Deleting the skill (using the trash can) removes the skill from the Active Skills, Spiral Review report, and Student Data reports. This action also removes the data associated with the skill.
To remove a skill from Spiral Review (Deactivating)
Choose CLASSES from the blue ribbon.
Choose a class from the left column.
Choose Spiral Review from the middle column.
Move the slider next to the description to deactivate the skill. (Green is on; gray is off.)
To permanently remove a skill from the students' Spiral Review (Deleting)
Choose CLASSES from the blue ribbon.
Choose a class from the left column.
Choose Spiral Review from the middle column.
Click on the trash can icon on the far right for the skill you wish to delete.
Note: Using the trash can will remove the data from the class as well.
