What is the difference between Assignment Report and Points History?

Compare Assignment Reports to Points History; compare total points to errors fixed

Remember, assignment points show initial mastery, and Spiral Review points are the powerful points for long-term retention.

Assignment Reports

Assignment reports allow teachers to view which students have completed an assignment and how many errors, if any, were fixed by each student while working on the assignment.

Teachers can find individual student assignment data in Student Data > In-Depth Report > Assignments.

Points History Report

Points History allows teachers to view the total number of points earned by each student on a given day and provides a quick way to take grades.

The daily goal set by the teacher is displayed at the top of each column in Points History. The teacher may choose to use the daily goal as the grade for the day.

In each of the report views, GMM displays the daily goal set by the teacher at top of each column. Most teachers use the daily goal as the grade for the day.

Total Points Earned

Teachers can view the total number of points earned by each student per day.

This view provides a quick way to take daily or weekly grades.

Points Earned in Assignments & Spiral Review

Teachers view the breakdown of the points earned in assignments and Spiral Review.

In the left, purple column, the points earned in assignments are shown.

In the right, green column, the points earned in Spiral Review are shown.

This view provides insight for where each student is earning their points.

Total Points Earned & Errors Fixed

Teachers view the total number of points earned and errors fixed by a each student.

In the left, blue column, the total points earned by the student are displayed.

In the right, green column, the errors fixed by the student are displayed.

This view is helpful for teachers to determine how many errors are fixed, and this information could be used to grant partial credit for some students.
