What are the white squares on my students' screens?

Colors of squares; untried skills; initial understanding of targeted skills; built-in exit ticket

Updated over 3 months ago

Students can track their own progress with the colors of their squares.

White squares indicate untried or few attempts for a skill.

Red squares show the student is struggling with the skill.

Yellow squares indicate the student has achieved initial understanding of a skill.

When a student levels up to yellow on targeted skills for the day, the student has earned the built-in exit ticket.
