How can I force my students to move to Spiral Review?

Without the Switch to Spiral Review button, how can get my whole class in Spiral Review?

Updated over 3 months ago

Spiral Review points are included in each assignment, and Spiral Review points are the valuable points for breaking the forgetting cycle!

Often, teachers prefer students to work in Spiral Review as the warm-up activity.

To move the entire class to Spiral Review, teachers have three options:

Students can click the drop down menu on their dashboards and choose Spiral Review.

From Current Status, teachers can see if students are working in Spiral Review or an assignment. Keep in mind that assignments include Spiral Review points as well.

To turn off all assignments:

a. Go to CLASSES

b. Choose the class in the left column and Assignments in the gray column.

c. Make all assignments unavailable.

If there is not an icon beside the class name in the left column, all assignments are off.

Another option is to create a Spiral Review assignment.

From WORK, create an assignment that does not include any skills and include the number of Spiral Review points expected.

If this assignment is the default assignment, students will see this assignment first.

Teachers can even force students to finish the default assignment before moving to other incomplete assignments.
