Breezy now lets you create estimates from templates and save existing estimates as templates for future use — making it faster than ever to build consistent, professional proposals in the field.

This guide walks you through how to:

  • Create an estimate from a template

  • Save an estimate as a new template

  • Manage and reuse templates in the Technician App

Accessing Estimate Templates

Estimate templates are available directly from any Visit Details screen in the Technician App.

To access them:

  1. Open a job or visit from your Home screen or Schedule view.

  2. Go to the Estimates section.

  3. Tap the “+” (plus) button, or select Create Estimate from the Actions menu.

You’ll now see a list of available estimate templates.

Step 1: Choose How to Start

When you open the Create Estimate screen, you’ll have two options:

  1. Create Blank Estimate — Start from scratch.

  2. Choose a Saved Template — Use one of your pre-saved templates.

Your saved templates will appear below the “Create Blank Estimate” option.

Example:

  • Good / Better / Best – Furnace

  • Good / Better / Best – Air Conditioner

Step 2: Apply a Template

Select a template to instantly populate your estimate with all the line items, pricing, and grouped options defined in that template.

From there, you can:

  • Edit line items or add new ones

  • Change the estimate title or description

  • Add notes or photos to the Gallery

  • Customize any part of the estimate before sending

💡 Tip: Templates are great for standardizing “Good, Better, Best” sales options — so you can build consistency across your team while saving time on every visit.

Step 3: Create and Send the Estimate

Once you’re satisfied with the details:

  1. Tap Create Estimate.

  2. Review the estimate just like you would with any other job.

  3. You can present, email, or edit it again as needed.

This process works exactly the same whether you’re on a tablet or mobile phone version of the Technician App.

Step 4: Save an Estimate as a Template

You can save any completed estimate as a reusable template for future jobs.

To do so:

  1. Open an existing estimate.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the estimate screen.

  3. Tap the three-dot (⋮) menu.

  4. Select Save as Template (just above “Delete”).

  5. Give your template a name — for example:
    Good / Better / Best – Modified

  6. Tap Save.

Your new template will now appear the next time you go to Create Estimate, under the list of available templates.

Step 5: Reuse the Template

To test your new template:

  1. Return to the Visit Details screen.

  2. Tap Create Estimate again.

  3. You’ll now see your saved template (e.g., Good / Better / Best – Modified) listed as an available option.

Select it to quickly build your next estimate — no manual re-entry required.

Best Practices

💡 Use templates for repeatable options – such as standard system replacements, seasonal promotions, or service packages.

💡 Keep templates updated – If pricing or parts change, edit a live estimate and re-save it as a new template version.

💡 Name templates clearly – Use consistent names like “Good/Better/Best – AC” or “Furnace Tune-Up – Premium” for easy recognition in the field.
