0:00 Hello, and welcome to Brazy. In this video, we're going to be looking at how to set up maintenance plans within your account.
0:06 So the first thing you're going to want to do is head over to your settings on the left hand side, then come on over to maintenance plans.
0:14 First of all, this is a setting that you can enable or disable. So in case this is something that you just don't want your company to offer maintenance plans, then you can always come in and turn that off, and it won't be something you have to worry about.
0:26 But if you want to use it, go ahead and enable it if it is not already. When you're looking at the tax rate here this is something that you can choose if you want to have kind of a default tax rate for these maintenance plans or not.
0:39 In this case, we're going to say we're just going to leave it at none set. Then you can choose what is included in this, right?
0:45 There's labels helpfully put along the way for this. So you can say which service do you want to offer for free in your maintenance plans.
0:52 In this case, we're saying we only want maintenance services to be provided for free within the maintenance plan, but maybe you have a little bit different format.
0:59 You can always come in here. These are your service categories, your line items, and you can go ahead and select You can also choose if you want these plans to be auto renew, manual renew, or auto and manual renew.
1:18 A lot of this is going to come down to obviously companies that have any preference in policy, as well as how your agreements are actually awarded when a customer signs on.
1:26 Are they agreeing to auto renew, manual renew, or something else. So, this allows you to control from here what the options are if you have it set to auto renew.
1:34 That means these maintenance plans are going to continue to roll over and be able to allow you to provide service for the customers and receive compensation from them without having to receive their express consent every time, as opposed to manual renew.
1:49 Alright, as we continue on, you'll see plan types in this case. This one's preloaded with silver and bronze here, and the difference between them being two annual visits in the silver versus one in bronze, 10% versus 5% discounts on installs and services.
2:04 And you have the ability to edit these, as well as duplicate them, or deactivate them if you no longer wish to offer them anymore.
2:11 You're also able to create a new plan from here. Maybe you want to add on a gold plan. You could do that by coming in here and labeling it as such.
2:19 Provide the description for it. You can choose the number of appointments per year. Maybe your gold's going to have three where the silver is two and bronze is one.
2:27 Number of days until visits expire. You can also have down here your pricing. Is it going to be a flat rate pricing?
2:36 Or is it going to be equipment based pricing for the membership program that is? Is your membership fee going to just be a flat rate across all of your members or is it going to be, you know, vary based on the equipment that they have available?
2:52 And then, uh, what is the flat rate regardless of which, what equipment? It's covered in their plan that they're going to be charged, so this means they're going to be charged no matter what based on this annual price, uh, in this flat rate.
3:04 Or we can come over to the equipment base and then again you'll see that variation when it comes time to actually apply that plan.
3:10 Billing periods, you can choose if you want to bill them annually, monthly, or what that's going to look like. In this case, it's selected annually, but you can also bill monthly depending on how you want to set that up.
3:20 We also have plan discounts here, so you can choose if you want, uh, discounts to be included or available within that.
3:27 Uh, if you want to add other discounts. You can describe them so that they're going to be labeled and, uh, detailed there.
3:35 Terms and conditions, so go ahead and put in your legal disclaimers here. This is going to be, again, a lot of this is going to be what helps determine whether or not you are manually rolling out.
3:45 Over this plan or not, right? This is where you want to have that kind of language in to make sure it's clear what you're covering, what you're not covering, what the agreement entails, and then you can also choose if you want to add in some images or colors, right?
3:58 You see we've got the medallions over here, and we've got the color around it here and the color around it there.
4:03 Those are little flares you can add in using these features here. As we scroll on down, you'll see the last thing in this category or in this section is going to show you what equipment is included within this.
4:14 In this case, within maintenance plans, we're saying we're only going to do maintenance services. That's the only service that's included within this plan.
4:23 And that service will also only apply to air conditioners and gas furnaces. Any other equipment will not be included in our maintenance plans through this program.
4:33 But That is something, again, you're able to come in and you can cover new equipment types. You can label it.
4:38 You can put in the price per service as well as the regular price per service. So what it normally is versus what is in the plan.
4:46 Maybe it's $0 into the plan because you already have that or maybe in this case you see it's normally $144 under the regular price.
4:54 Now it's $72 under this price. So the customer can always be seeing what kind of discount they're getting here. So this is how you can set up your maintenance plans within Breezy.
5:03 This is a feature that you're able, again, to turn off, turn on. And we'll have some extra videos that are going to show you other sides of this, such as how to use this as a technician in the field.
5:13 For now, this is going to be it for this video. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
