Missions

How to create customer missions for your rewards program

Missions are created under the "Rewards" tab in the admin. This tab is only available to staff accounts with a manager role assigned.

Pre-Created Missions:

Store Sign Up and App Download Missions:

  • These are already created for you and located under "disabled"

  • Select active dates, points, and unsuspend the mission

  • Sign-up bonus is given after the customer signs into the online store and makes a purchase either online or in-store

  • App Download Mission is given after the customer downloads the Apple or Google app and signs in to their account

Create your own mission:

About Mission: Enter a title and brief description for your mission to display to customers

Active Dates: Customer activity occurring before the set start date will not count towards mission progress or earn prizes. You can set the start date to a date in the past.

Mission Settings

  • Purchase History

    • Quantity of Specific Items

      • Total number of items purchased

    • Total Spent on Specific Items

      • Total spent on items before tax

  • Carrot Orders

    • Number of Orders

    • Total Spent

  • Add your optional filters

    • Purchase History Filter

      • Brands

        • Limit the mission to certain brands you want to promote. Use this to push slower-selling products or highlight your in-house brands.

          • Not seeing the brand you're looking for? Check the brand field inside your POS.

    • Carrot Order Filters

      • Order Methods

        • Launching delivery? Need to boost e-commerce adoption? Create missions that reward customers for trying new order methods

      • Payment Methods

        • Reward customers for pre-paying for their order using one of our integrated payment methods

  • Image

    • You will need to upload an image for in-progress missions (grayscale) and completed missions (colorized).

  • Limits

    • Let users complete missions repeatedly or make them one-time bonuses

  • Points

    • Set how many points the customer receives for completing the mission

Missions require the loyalty program to be activated on your account. If you don't have a rewards program enabled, please fill out this form to create your program, and someone from our customer support team will contact you.
