Here is a comprehensive step-by-step guide for managing the tasks and overall status of each nonprofit's state registrations

Getting Started

  • On the top-right corner of the platform, there are two icons:

    • The bell icon is for notifications

    • The gear icon is to sign out of the dashboard

  • For further support or to go to our Help Center, click on the Help button on the bottom-left corner of the platform.

Home tab

  • In the Home tab, there is a registration dashboard that tracks the following statuses:

    • Not started - clients with state registrations that have not yet been started

    • Renewed - clients with completed registrations

    • In Progress - clients with their registrations still in progress, pending action items

  • Most Urgent Clients shows the top 6 nonprofits based on the nearest renewal deadlines or any outstanding renewals. This is helpful in identifying which clients you will urgently need to complete renewals for.

  • To look at all of your existing nonprofit clients, click on "View All Nonprofit Clients."

Nonprofits tab

  • In the Nonprofits tab, you will see all the nonprofits that your legal team is currently completing state renewals for.

    • This page will default to showing only the clients that the current logged-in user is assigned to

    • However, you may clear the filter to see all clients or other members' clients

  • You can also filter by Next Renewal Due Date, with the clients who have closer deadlines on the top of the list.

  • Additionally, you may search clients by name to easily locate the nonprofit on the list.

  • Once you've located the nonprofit, you may click on View Client to take a further look at the current progress of completing their state renewals.

Filings tab

  • In the Filings tab, you can view all existing filings in your database.

    • You can search by nonprofit by using the search bar

    • You can filter the fillings by the following:

      • Filing type

      • Status

      • FYE (fiscal year-end)

      • Due Date

      • State

  • You may also select multiple filings and update certain fields (such as due dates or statuses) by selecting the clients and clicking Edit under the Actions dropdown.

  • Lastly, you can export the list of filings by clicking on Export.
