Adding shelf life, tags, and station to recipes

What are the additional details about? What exactly do Stations, Tags, and Shelf Life mean in meez?

Updated over 10 months ago

The Additional Details section is where you can add more information on your recipe for organization and the ability to filter by in other parts of the app. Currently the three parts of this section are Shelf Life, Stations and Tags.

Shelf Life

Here you can input any quantity and time frame that you need to give the shelf life of your recipe. Whether it be 2 days, 2 months, or 4 hours. You can input this here.

Station

Here you can give your recipe a designation of which station in your kitchen this recipe is for. Salad station, Saute, Cold or Hot apps, designating a station can increase efficiency in the busy kitchen where organization is key.

By adding in a station you can filter by it on the Recipe tab. This way those at your Prep station looking for recipe can easily sort by their station to quickly find what they need.

Tags

Tags like stations add more customization to organize your recipes, while also giving the ability to sort by on the Recipe tab.

Some examples for tags are:

  • Menu (Mains, Menu Item, Prep, Batch)

  • Availability(Active, Inactive)

  • Time (Month, Year, Seasonal)
