LinkedIn post import is one of the most powerful and underused list-building techniques. When someone reacts to or comments on a post, they’re signalling genuine interest in that topic. This makes post-based lists among the most targeted you can build.
Use cases for LinkedIn post import
A competitor’s product announcement. People engaging with it are evaluating options in your category.
An industry thought leader’s post on a pain point you solve. They’ve identified themselves as experiencing that problem.
A conference or event announcement. Attendees are your pre-trade-show meeting targets.
A viral post in your target industry. Use the engagement as a proxy for active, interested people in the space.
Your own post or a partner’s post. Re-engage people who already showed interest in your content.

Commenters vs. reactors — which are more valuable?
Commenters have invested more effort — they wrote something, not just clicked a reaction. For most campaigns, commenters convert at a higher rate.
When in doubt, import both and segment them into different lists — then run separate campaigns to each and compare the reply rates.
