LinkedIn search import lets you skip the CSV entirely. You build a people search in LinkedIn, copy the URL, and GetReplies pulls the results into a contact list automatically — including each person’s name, headline, and LinkedIn profile URL.
How to import from a LinkedIn search
Go to LinkedIn and run a People search using the search bar and filters.
Apply filters: job title, location, industry, company size, connections. Click People to filter to profiles only.
When the results look right, copy the full URL from your browser address bar.
In GetReplies, go to your campaign → Contacts → Import from LinkedIn Search.
Paste the URL into the search URL field.
Set how many contacts to import. Stay under 200 at a time — LinkedIn does not like large bulk pulls.
Select the LinkedIn account GetReplies should use to run the search.
Click Start import. The list builds in the background — check Contacts → Lists to see progress.

Building a high-quality LinkedIn search
The quality of your list depends entirely on how well you filter your search. Here is how to get precise results:
Use the People filter. Always click on 'People' after searching — this filters to profiles rather than posts or companies.
Filter by job title. Use the Title filter rather than putting the title in the search bar. This matches profiles whose actual title contains your keywords.
Filter by location. Set the geography you’re targeting — country, state, or city. This is one of the most important quality filters.
Filter by industry. Narrows results to the sector you’re targeting. Combine with job title for high precision.
Filter by company size. Useful when your ICP is a specific size of business — for example, 50–200 employees.
Filter by connections. 2nd-degree connections are often highest-value — you have a mutual connection, which improves acceptance rates.
LinkedIn Premium vs. LinkedIn Sales Navigator for list building
LinkedIn Sales Navigator has advanced filtering options to build sharp lists, while LinkedIn Free or Premium have limited filters. You can use any of them to build lists.
How big a list do you need?
Typically a single LinkedIn account should be used for 400-500 connection requests/ messages per month. Hence, for each LinkedIn profile, pull lists of similar size.
