Weโ€™ve launched a new smart search in KAN Resources designed to help you quickly find the right answers.

How it works

  • You can now type a full question and get a clear, direct result.

  • The search is AI-powered, but it starts with what we already trust most: KAN Resources.

  • If our resources don't contain a clear answer, the search will check a small set of trusted external sites for additional context.

  • Every result includes source links, so you always know where the information came from.

  • You can rate the helpfulness of answers (๐Ÿ‘/๐Ÿ‘Ž) your feedback helps improve search results over time.

Example questions you can ask

  • โ€œWhat documents do I need for a KiwiSaver transfer?โ€

  • "What are the steps for switching an insurance policy to a new adviser?"

  • โ€œHow do income changes affect mortgage servicing calculations?โ€

  • "I am from Hamilton and wish to contact a BDM at ASB, who can I contact?"

Why weโ€™ve made this change

KAN Resources already contains the guidance advisers rely on every day. This update is about making that guidance faster and easier to find, especially when you're under time pressure and don't know the exact wording of a page.
