Once you have decided the amount of cover that your client needs, and any necessary variations have been made, you need to find an insurance provider(s) that will fit your clients needs. Once you have done this, you'll record your reasons for the provider choice in the 'Provider research' section of the Opportunity. From this section, you'll be able to select all the insurance providers that you are recommending to your clients.

Once you have selected a provider, you'll be asked to write descriptions for these choices.

Default provider reasoning

This is written in your insurance settings, and is provided automatically each time you select this provider for a client. However, this can be edited for each individual client.

Personalised reasoning

This is where you write how this specific provider will help the client achieve their goals.

Provider/Quote documents

At the bottom of the page, you're able to select which provider documents you'd like to be included in the Statement of Advice, if any.

You also have the ability to upload a quote from the provider to be attached to the Statement of Advice.

What next?

From here, you'll need to check your Statement of Advice before showing it to your client.
