Once you have finished reviewing your client's existing insurances, you may then be ready to put forward an Insurance Provider (or a few) to recommend to your client. This will then be compiled with your SOA document.

You may need to jump between this page and the Recommended Cover page if you're still working out the cover level amounts you want to recommend alongside client variations and which insurer would be best for achieving the client's needs πŸ‘

You can access the Provider Research page within an Insurance Advice Opportunity:

In this article you will learn:

  • Selecting Providers

  • Default Provider Reasoning

  • Personalised Reasoning

  • Provider / Quote Documents

  • Removing the Provider Research page

Selecting Providers

Once you have a Insurer(s) in mind, you can select one or multiple Providers from the drop-down at the top of the page:

If you selected multiple, there will be multiple tabs for this:

Within the tab for the provider you selected, you'll be asked to write descriptions for these choices; this is outlined below.

Default provider reasoning

This is written in your insurance SOA settings, and is provided automatically each time you select this provider for a client. However, this can be edited for each individual client as well if you like to πŸ‘

Personalised reasoning

This is where you write how this specific provider will help the client achieve their goals.

Provider/Quote documents

At the bottom of the page, you're able to upload or select which Provider documents you'd like to be included in the Statement of Advice if you've set this up in the SOA Settings for Provider Research. You can also include direct Quote documents from the Provider πŸ‘

Note: Only PDFs will work in merging with the final SOA document.

Whichever documents you select or upload will be included at the END of your final downloaded SOA document.

Removing the Provider Research information

You can fully remove the Provider Research information from appearing in your generated SOA document by clicking the 'bin' icon to the top right of this page:

A prompt will appear as a warning that any edits and information you've put into the page thus far will be removed:

You may still need to remove the blank page from the SOA if you do this, as the heading will still appear in the generated doc.

What next?

From here, you'll need to check your Statement of Advice before showing it to your client.
