TAP’s CRM is fairly basic and does not store a huge amount of information. All information aside for documents is downloadable manually by you.

Step 1: Export Your Client List from TAP

You can export your full client list directly from the Clients page in TAP.

In addition, you can export your client data from the following sections—these will all come in CSV format (TAP doesn’t support XML files):

  • Lead > Search

  • Client > Search

  • Pipelines > Mortgage

  • Pipelines > KiwiSaver

  • Pipelines > Investments

  • Pipelines > Advice Process

  • Activities

Step 2: Request Your Notes and Documents from TAP

TAP can also export your Notes and Documents for a specific date range of your choice.

  • Notes will be sent in CSV format

  • Documents will come in a Zipped folder

You’ll just need to confirm your preferred date range with TAP for these exports.

Tip: The Lead and Client exports include a Client ID. All other exports also reference this same Client ID, which makes it easier to match notes, activities, documents, or advice records to the right client.

Step 3: Send Your Data to Trail

Once you have your data, email it to us at support@gettrail.com.

It can take up to two weeks for us to import everything once we’ve received your full TAP export.
