Most modern and standardised CRM systems allow you to download important CRM information. Start by reading the data export instructions specific to your CRM (if applicable):

Note: Many of these CRMs will allow you to create custom fields to store your data in, our importers cannot handle these custom fields and so this data will be imported as a text note.
Step one: Download your data
You will most likely receive this data in CSV format (spreadsheets), covering:
Contacts
Profiles
Deal
Activites
Notes
Documents
Compress these into a Zip file
Please ensure that you are exporting all the relevant information you can. Most CRM’s allow you to filter the results, this could lead to Trail importing an incomplete set of data for you.
Step two: Send us your data
In all cases, please can you download your information and
Upload this to a secure storage site, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or Microsoft OneDrive.
Send us an email with a secure link to download the file to support@gettrail.com
Once we have downloaded the file we will contact you to receive the password.
Please also download a copy of your data yourself and store this securely.
The data will take up to two weeks from the date we receive it to be imported.
If you are using a custom version of Salesforce, please let us know as this may take more time.
