Quick Summary
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra security step when logging in to Trail. In addition to your password, you’ll need a 6-digit code generated by an authenticator app on your mobile phone. This code refreshes every 30 seconds and helps protect your account from unauthorised access.
Once 2FA is enabled:
You’ll log in with your password + a 6-digit code
The code comes from an Authenticator app on your phone
Even if someone knows your password, they can’t log in without your phone

What Is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
2FA is a security feature that requires two things to log in:

Something you have → a 6-digit code from your phone
Authenticator apps generate a new 6-digit code every 30 seconds, making your account much more secure.
