Top Questions + Answers
Q: How do you get the URL link to add disclosure?
A: This would usually be the website link to your publicly available disclosure - you would just highlight the weblink at the top of your browser and copy that.
β
Q: What are people putting in the Nature and Scope about what you are NOT providing advice on?
βA: This could be any advice areas that you are aware your client may be after during your initial interviews/ discussions with them, but is not in your area of advice expertise. E.g. investment, taxation, legal, estate planning advice.
β
Q: Can we send Mortgage recommendation to client to fill in their solicitor details, preferred start date for repayment etc?
βA: Yes this can be done if you're using the Interactive Mortgage Recommendation page - or you can email out to your client to ask for these details.
Q: Why is the Funding Details section not included in the Mortgage Recommendation screen, would be so much easier to have it in one place.
A: The Funding Details section is allocated for creating the application to the bank, whereas the Mortgage Recommendation page is to be presented to the client, usually after an approved loan amount is known.
Q: If you review and make changes to the SOA, would the Timeline keep a record of the original and the edited?
A: If your email integration is working, and allowing email attachment access, then Trail will capture any attachments to an email that you send out to your client, including original and tweaked versions - onto the Profile Timeline.
Q: Does progress in the Complaints management save automatically - as there are many situations where you may be waiting for client to provide more info?
A: Yes the answers you type into each of those sections and questions should auto save and you can come back to it once you have further client info.
