Once you and your client have decided which policies the client will go through with, you'll need to 'Win' the Opportunity to update your client's statement of position to reflect their new circumstances, and also to remove the open advice Opportunity from the Pipeline and the client's Profile.

There are three ways to complete an Opportunity for a client:

  • From the Pipeline

  • From the client's Profile

  • From the Application Editor

When on the Fire & General Advice Pipeline, click and drag the Opportunity tile (like you would to move an Opportunity between stages). At the bottom of the screen, a few options will appear. Drag the tile and hover it over 'Complete' until it becomes a darker green, and let go.

A client's Profile

When on the Profile for a client, click on the Opportunity tile for the relevant Opportunity in the Opportunities box.

This will bring up the Opportunity application sidebar. From here, click the three dots at the bottom of the sidebar, and select 'Complete'.

The Application Editor

Once you have accessed the Application Editor for a client, navigate to the Opportunity Summary page. From here, you will be able to select 'Win'.

Updating the client's situation

Once you have done this, you'll be asked to fill in information regarding what your client's new policies are.

Clicking on each box will allow you to edit the product information, and remove a product if the client is not going to have it moving forward. If you are removing a product, you can choose to either:

  • Archive the product: This means the product will not appear in the products box on the Profile, but it will appear in the Profile timeline as an archived product (this is not permanent).

  • Delete the product: This will permanently remove the product from the Profile.

Once the client's information is updated and correct. Click 'Win Opportunity' at the bottom of the page. This will update:

This will also mean that the Opportunity will be removed from the Pipeline and Opportunities box on the Profile.
