If you have an 'Assistant' account on Trail, you may need access to edit disclosures on behalf of an adviser or multiple advisers in your business.

If you're an Adviser on Trail, here is the relevant article for editing your personal disclosures.

In this article you will learn:

  • How to edit the Organisation Disclosure Settings which allows you to view and edit ALL adviser disclosures in your business.

Important Note πŸ’‘

You will also need "Organisation Admin" access with your assistant account in order to view & edit the settings mentioned in this article.

Step 1: Go to your Settings - Organisation Disclosure Settings

Under the Organisation Settings, there will be one for Disclosures as per below:

Step 2: Selecting the adviser's name to edit for

On the right hand side of the page, use the drop-down list to select the adviser that you want to edit disclosures for:

Step 3: Selecting the disclosure you want to edit

There will be a drop-down box towards the left for you to select the relevant disclosure you want to work on:

These will show only the advice areas that you have access to on Trail (e.g. Mortgage / Insurance / Kiwisaver).

You will always have access to the Complaints disclosure.

Step 4: Making your edits

  • It may be that you're doing this for consistencies - so you're welcome to copy text from these boxes, and hop between advisers/ and their disclosures, then paste in the relevant places to have them all showing the same wording.

  • Any edits or changes made in the 'Organisation Disclosures' are reflected in that advisers' personal settings.

  • NOTE: Any edits you make should save instantaneously, there is no need to click 'save'.
