Brand Profile: Getting AI to sound like you

Brand Profile is how Vamos learns your business, audience, and voice — so every output sounds like you, not generic AI.

Brand Profile is the foundation that makes Vamos's output sound like you instead of generic AI. Without it, you get cookie-cutter content anyone could have written. With it, you get scripts, posts, and copy that match your voice, your audience, and your angle.

The big recent changes:

  • Brand Profile capacity is now 15x larger (~400K tokens). Upload as much context as you want.

  • Vamos no longer dumps your full Brand Profile into every chat. It stores everything, then pulls only what's relevant per task. You don't pay credits to "carry" your Brand Profile around.

  • There's no Brand Profile toggle anymore. It loads automatically whenever useful.

The three sections

Brand Profile has three sections:

  1. About You — the facts about your business, audience, and offers.

  2. Brand Voice — a voice profile extracted from your actual content.

  3. Memory — auto-saved preferences and corrections Vamos learns from chats.

You fill in About You and Brand Voice directly. Memory builds itself over time from how you use Vamos (details: How Memory works).

Section 1 — About You

Access: app.getvamos.ai/brand-profile → About You tab.

This is where you describe yourself and your business in plain text. Vamos doesn't need a fancy structure — just put the facts in.

What to include

Who you are and what you do:

  • Your role (coach, agency, content creator, founder, product business)

  • Your niche (fitness, productivity, SaaS marketing, etc.)

  • Your unique angle

  • Company name / positioning

Your audience:

  • Who you create content for

  • Demographics (age, profession, interests)

  • Their pain points and goals

Your offers:

  • Products, services, programs

  • Pricing if relevant

  • Where people sign up / buy

Content pillars:

  • The 3–7 main topics you talk about

  • Used when Vamos generates ideas, so it stays on-theme

Custom AI instructions:

  • Specific dos and don'ts

  • Style rules you always want followed

  • Example: "Never use corporate jargon. Always include a personal story. Never use emojis in captions."

How to add info

Three ways, use any combination:

  • Text — type directly into the About You field, format however you want.

  • Links — paste URLs (your website, landing pages, social profiles) and Vamos extracts the content.

  • Files — upload PDFs, decks, docs (brand guidelines, past scripts, pitch decks).

The 400K token capacity means you can drop in a ton of material without worrying about hitting limits.

Section 2 — Brand Voice

Access: Brand Profile → Brand Voice tab.

This is where you teach Vamos how you write, not what you do.

How it works

  1. You add content that sounds like you — social profiles, videos, files, or pasted text.

  2. Vamos runs an extraction prompt to pull out your voice patterns (tone, cadence, phrasing, structure, quirks).

  3. The output is a voice profile you can view and edit directly. Tweak anything that feels off.

  4. From then on, every writing task Vamos does auto-loads your voice profile — no toggles needed.

What to add

Use your actual best-performing content. Quantity helps, but quality matters more.

Good inputs:

  • Top-performing social posts

  • Video transcripts (YouTube, TikTok, Reels)

  • Email copy you've written

  • Landing page copy

  • Sales copy, newsletters

  • Links to your own social profiles (Vamos pulls recent posts)

  • Links to creators you want to emulate

Avoid:

  • Generic content you didn't write

  • Off-brand samples

  • Old content that no longer reflects your voice

Editing your voice profile

After Vamos extracts your voice, you see the full profile (tone descriptors, example phrases, dos/don'ts). If anything's wrong:

  • Delete it.

  • Rewrite the description.

  • Add rules directly.

Your edits persist. Next time Vamos writes, it uses your updated profile.

Section 3 — Memory

Memory saves preferences and corrections Vamos learns from conversation. You don't manage it through the Brand Profile form — Vamos builds it automatically.

Quick example: tell Vamos "I hate hooks that start with a question" and it saves the rule to Memory. Next time you ask for a script, the rule applies.

Before vs. after Brand Profile

Without Brand Profile:

Discover 5 proven strategies to enhance your productivity and unlock your full potential...

Generic, polished, could be from anyone.

With Brand Profile:

Productivity isn't about doing more. It's about doing what actually matters. Here's what works...

Direct, confident, sounds like you.

The difference is the model has your voice to anchor to.

How much to fill in

Aim for these rough targets:

  • About You: 300–1,000 words of plain text, plus 2–5 links / files of supporting material.

  • Brand Voice: 5–15 pieces of your best content (either pasted, linked, or uploaded).

  • Content pillars: 3–7 topics.

The completion indicator on the Brand Profile page tells you how fleshed out you are. 70%+ is solid; 90%+ is ideal.

Tips

  • Update it when your brand evolves. New audience, new offers, new voice direction → update.

  • Don't fake it. If you describe a voice you don't actually have, outputs will feel plastic.

  • Keep adding high-performers. Every time you publish something that crushes, add it to Brand Voice so Vamos keeps learning.

  • Use Memory for corrections. Don't go back and edit Brand Profile every time you want to change a small preference — just correct Vamos in chat and it saves to Memory.

FAQ

Do I need to toggle Brand Profile on in chat? No. It loads automatically when useful.

Will Brand Profile eat my credits? No. Vamos only loads the relevant pieces per task, not the full profile. The 15x larger capacity doesn't cost you 15x more credits.

Does Brand Profile sync across workspaces? No. Each workspace has its own Brand Profile (this keeps multi-client / multi-brand work cleanly separated).
