Quick answers to the most common questions about Vamos — billing, credits, features, limits, and more.

Account & billing

Q: How do I cancel my subscription? Go to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period, then you revert to Free. No contracts, cancel anytime.

Q: Can I get a refund? Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase. Email contact@getvamos.ai with your account email and the reason — we review each case individually.

Q: What happens to my content if I cancel? Your saved content stays accessible on the Free plan. Anything you've already downloaded or copied is yours forever. Brand Profile / Inspiration / Profile Analyst features become inaccessible until you reactivate.

Q: Can I change from monthly to yearly billing? Yes, in Settings → Billing. Switching to yearly charges the yearly amount immediately and saves you ~25% (you pay for 9 months, get 12).

Q: What if I run out of credits mid-month? Three options:

  1. Buy an extra credit pack on the Billing page (paid plans only) — packs never expire.

  2. Upgrade to Business for 6,000 credits/month.

  3. Wait for your monthly reset.

Q: Do credits expire? Monthly plan credits reset on your billing date and don't roll over. Extra credit packs never expire.

Q: My payment failed — what happens? Your plan doesn't upgrade (or renew) until the card is updated. Head to Settings → Billing to update your card. If you hit issues, email contact@getvamos.ai.

Q: Can I upgrade from trial to paid early? Yes. Click Upgrade any time during the 7-day trial — you're charged in full immediately and your account unlocks the full plan credits right away (2,000 for Pro, 6,000 for Business).

Features & functionality

Q: Can Vamos post directly to my social media accounts? Not yet. You create content in Vamos and post it manually (or through your scheduling tool). Direct posting is on the roadmap.

Q: Can I use Vamos in languages other than English? The AI responds in any language you speak to it (100+). The interface is available in English, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, German, French, and Hungarian.

Q: How many files can I upload at once? Currently one at a time, up to 10 MB per file. Multiple files simultaneously is on the roadmap.

Q: Can I share my Brand Profile between workspaces? No — each workspace has its own Brand Profile, Memory, and content. This keeps multi-client work cleanly separated.

Q: Do I need to toggle Brand Profile or Brand Voice on per chat? No. Vamos automatically decides what to include from your Brand Profile based on each task. There's no toggle — it just works. For writing tasks, your Brand Voice is always loaded so outputs sound like you.

Q: How does Memory work? Vamos automatically saves useful things you tell it (your audience, tone, preferences, what you hate) so it doesn't have to re-learn them every chat. You can view, edit, and delete memories at Memory settings. Full guide: How Memory works.

Q: Which AI model should I use? Leave it on AUTO. Vamos picks the best model for each task — cheaper models for research/simple questions, Claude for writing. You'll get better outputs and save credits. Full breakdown: AI Models: How to use them.

Q: Can I generate images? Not yet — image generation is coming. For now, Vamos handles text: scripts, posts, captions, research, analysis.

Q: What about a watchlist for competitors? The Watchlist is in active development — you'll be able to track competitors and see what's working for them, always fresh. Not live yet.

Q: Can I invite team members? A proper team invite system is coming. Right now, Business plan gives you 5 workspaces you can use for different brands or team members' work.

What's new (April 2026)

  • 5x cheaper credits — actions that cost 200 credits before now cost 30–40.

  • AUTO model selection — Vamos picks the best model per task. Thinking mode is handled automatically.

  • Memory — persistent knowledge across chats.

  • Bigger Brand Profile — 400K token capacity, 15x larger than before.

  • Comments research — pull and analyze comments from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube.

  • Similar accounts discovery for competitor research.

  • Visual research display — browse everything Vamos found, not just the final output.

  • Canvas editor upgrade — full-page Google-Docs-style editing with AI tools.

  • Edit + regenerate any previous message in a chat.
