Work leaves Vamos two ways: as a file, or as a link.
As a file
Open the doc and use Download. Five formats.
Word (.docx) for anything going to a client or a colleague who will comment on it. PDF (.pdf) when it should not be edited. Text (.txt) for pasting into a teleprompter or a caption field without formatting coming along. Markdown (.md) if it is going into another tool that understands it. Spreadsheet (.csv) for anything that is really a table, like a content calendar or a batch of hooks.
If a download fails, try a different format. The failure is usually in building that one file rather than in the doc.
As a link
Share on a doc or a chat. Two states.
Private means only you and your workspace can open it. This is the default and it is also what a link reverts to when you switch sharing off.
Anyone with the link means exactly that. They can open it without an account, and they can pass the link on. Vamos says so on the dialog, and it is worth reading, because a shared link is public to anyone who ends up holding it.
You can switch a link back to private at any time.
Sharing a chat rather than a doc
A chat can be shared too, which is different from sharing the doc it produced. The chat shows the whole conversation including the research, which is useful when the reasoning is the point. The doc is just the output.
Send the chat when someone asks how you concluded something. Send the doc when they asked for the script.
On the free plan
Exporting and sharing need a paid plan. A long doc is also truncated on free, so there is less to export.
