Plans, credits and prices

What the free plan, the trial, Pro and Business each include, what a credit is, and how much things cost.

Vamos has a free plan, a seven-day trial, and two paid plans. Credits pay for the work Vamos does, and each paid plan comes with a monthly allowance of them.

This is the only article that carries prices and allowances. Everywhere else links here, so there is one place to check and one place that can be out of date.

Your weekly brief is included on every plan and never spends credits.

A trial runs on the plan you chose, so it carries that plan's Watchlists and Routines. Only the credit allowance is fixed at 300. Trial a Business plan and you get seven Watchlists while you decide.

The free plan's 100 credits arrive once. They do not refill each month.

Yearly billing

Pay yearly and you pay for nine months and get twelve. Pro is $351 for the year, Business is $891. Yearly plans still get their credits monthly rather than as one lump at the start of the year.

Switch between monthly and yearly in Settings, under Billing.

What a credit is

A credit is spent when Vamos answers you, once per answer. Opening a chat costs nothing.

The cost of one answer depends on three things: how much Vamos has to read, how much it writes back, and which model runs. A quick question costs a fraction of a credit. A full research report with a script at the end costs tens of them.

Every answer shows what it cost. Look at the usage row under the reply, next to the time it took. That is the honest way to learn what your own work costs, and it is more useful than any estimate we could print here.

Two things make a real difference to your spend:

Staying in one chat is cheaper than starting a new one for the same job. When Vamos re-reads something it has already read in that chat, it is billed at a tenth of the normal rate. A long conversation about one project costs less than five short ones.

Leaving the model on AUTO is cheaper than picking one yourself. AUTO can switch models inside a single answer, using a fast cheap model for the research and Claude for the writing, so you pay Claude rates only for the part that needed Claude.

When credits reset

Plan credits reset to your full allowance on your billing date. Unused plan credits do not carry over to the next month.

Credits belong to your account, not to one workspace. If you run three workspaces, they draw on the same balance.

If you move to a bigger plan mid-month, you are granted the difference rather than a fresh refill. Sitting on 1,400 of 2,000 and moving to a 6,000 plan leaves you with 5,400. Moving down does not wipe what you have, it caps it at the new allowance.

Extra credit packs

If you run out before your reset date, you can buy a pack in Settings, under Billing. Packs are available on Pro and Business.

Pack credits sit in a separate balance from your monthly allowance. The monthly reset does not touch them, and changing plan does not touch them either.

Extra workspaces

Business includes three workspaces. Beyond that, an extra workspace is $15 a month. Each one keeps its own brand, voice, Watchlists and chat history.

Which plan to pick

Pro suits one brand or one account. Business is built for running several at once, which is why it is the plan with more than one workspace, more Watchlists per workspace, and more Routines.

If you are not sure, start the trial on the plan you think you want. You can change plan at any time.
