Open the Routine. Its run history says what happened, and most of the states do not need anything from you.
Out of credits
The most common one. A routine that comes due with no credits does not run.
It tries again on its next schedule, so a top-up or a reset fixes it without you touching the routine. See Running low on credits.
It was off when it was due
Paused at the moment it was scheduled. That slot is skipped and not backfilled. Resume it and the next one runs.
It finished without producing anything
The run completed but there was nothing to report. Usually a prompt asking about a window where nothing happened, which is common on a daily cadence asking a weekly question.
If it keeps happening, widen the cadence or the prompt rather than waiting.
We couldn't write this one
Generation failed. It says so and retries on the next schedule.
Credits for a failed run are refunded. You are not charged for a run that produced nothing.
Interrupted
The run was stopped partway. Same handling: refunded, and retried next time.
Running now
It is working. Long research routines take a few minutes.
It ran but no email came
The result is in the app either way, on the Routines page and on Home.
Vamos says when a provider blocked the delivery. Check the addresses on the routine too, because a typo in one fails silently.
It is not running at all and shows no history
Check it is not paused, and check the schedule. A routine set to a day and time that has not come round yet says when the next run is.
Also check the limit. If you are at your plan's active-routine limit, a newly created one may not be active. The counter on the page shows where you are.
Still wrong
Send us the routine name, the workspace, and when you expected it.
