How to Create a WAX View on Gorgias

Accessing View Management

Log in to your Gorgias account.

Click on Settings in the left sidebar menu.

Under the Helpdesk section, click on Views.

Create a New View

Click on the Create view button.

Give your view a clear and descriptive name (e.g., "Tickets WAX").


Moving to Gorgias's new version

Available since February 4th, 2026.

Why install this new version?

Until now, the V2 integration had a few limitations:

  1. When a ticket was opened in Gorgias, the agent could only see all previous messages appear at once when a new message was sent. Synchronization was therefore not continuous.

  2. When automations or campaigns were sent from WAX while a ticket was already open, those messages were not pushed to Gorgias. This caused a loss of context for the agent handling the ticket.

  3. When an agent closed a ticket in Gorgias, it was not automatically marked as closed in WAX.

With V3, all of these issues are fully resolved.

What is new with the new version?

  1. All messages are now automatically synchronized as soon as a ticket is opened. Agents get a complete, real-time history to handle the request.

  2. Messages sent from WAX (automations, campaigns, AI replies) also appear in Gorgias, even if a ticket is already open.*

  3. When a ticket is closed in Gorgias, it is also closed in WAX, ensuring perfect consistency between the two.

*Note: these messages appear with the author “Gorgias Bot”. This name is imposed by Gorgias.

What stays the same?

  1. If a customer writes again, the conversation is automatically marked as unresolved in WAX and a new ticket is opened in Gorgias.

  2. Your tags and views remain unchanged. No additional configuration is required. Tickets will continue to appear in the views you already created.

How to install the new version?

  1. Go to WAX and uninstall the currently active Gorgias integration here

  2. Refresh the page

  3. Click “Connect Gorgias” *

  4. A new page opens

  5. Authorize the required permissions

Your organization is now connected to Gorgias's new version (V3).

*Note: only users with the Admin role in Gorgias can complete the connection.
