If you regularly keep funds in your Giftbit account to send rewards, consider setting up low-balance notifications. These alerts let you know when your balance is running low so you can add funds before your next orders, avoiding possible interuptions. Notifications apply whether you send rewards through the Giftbit app, the API, or Zapier.
Setting up the Notification
Log in to your Giftbit account and navigate to your account information in the bottom left. Click your username and go to Account Overview.
Scroll down to find the options for both CAD and USD Low Balance Notification Email and turn on for the region(s) you want to be notified on.
Set the amount you want to be notified at if your funds drop below that amount.
💡Notifications are sent to the current email of the Giftbit account. Make sure your Giftbit account email can receive emails to receive these notifications.
Team Account Notifications
With Team Accounts enabled, team owners and other members can be included in notification emails. Follow the steps above to turn on notifications and set the threshold.
Once set, open the drop down menu to select which emails on your team you want to be included in the low balance notifications.
Note: Team owners and Admins cannot set the notifications for other accounts within their team. Each team member must log in and set their settings individually.
