By default, Giftbit rewards do not have a claim period, allowing recipients to claim their rewards indefinitely.
Promotional Rewards are a bit different: they allow setting a claim period, which is ideal if your program involves a promotion or time-sensitive action. They also offer the benefit of receiving partial credit for unclaimed rewards once the claim-before date is reached.
Claim-by Dates
When setting a claim period, you can choose a duration from 1 to 365 days, starting from the day the reward is sent.

If you're unsure whether you've set a claim period or simply want to know what's the claim-by date of the rewards you sent, you can verify this in the order details.
On the orders page, you can easily see which orders are still active (reward codes can still be revealed) and which are complete (the claim period has ended).
Reward Reminders
For rewards with a claim period longer than 30 days, a reminder email will be sent 30 days before expiry. You can also resend rewards directly from the order page or by searching for the recipient's email in "Contacts."
Partial Credit
With Promotional Rewards, complete orders will result in 25% partial credit being applied directly to your account for rewards that go unclaimed, which can be used on future orders.
