What should I do if a transaction is declined?

Common reasons include:

  • Trying to spend more than your available balance

  • Merchant not supporting prepaid cards or split payments

  • A temporary authorization hold reducing your available balance

  • Attempting to use the card for cash access (not allowed)

Steps to try:

  1. Check your balance

  2. Try again with a lower amount

  3. Try another merchant or payment terminal
