Bring Giraffe into ArcGIS
Giraffe is GeoJSON editor. Everything you author in Giraffe is in a native GIS format.
This makes interoperability between Giraffe and ArcGIS very easy!
Access the export menu via the main menu → Export
Select "GeoJSON Projected"
Follow the ArcGIS instructions to import the file
Bring ArcGIS into Giraffe
Follow the ArcGIS instructions to export your file as .shp with WSG84 projection, then Upload as a layer.
Or, Publish your ArcGIS project to an Esri featureserver, then import that layer to Giraffe.
Get data from an ArcGIS Dashboard or web map
An ArcGIS Dashboard shows data from a web map. Open the web map, open the layer's item page, and copy the service URL. Remove any layer number at the end, such as /0, so the URL ends with /FeatureServer or /MapServer. Then connect to that Esri service in Giraffe with Esri MapServer or FeatureServer.
An Esri MapServer or ImageServer URL adds the layer as an image. Its colors come from the server, so you cannot recolor its geometries. An Esri FeatureServer URL adds the layer as vector data that you can style in the Data Table. A SceneServer URL adds a 3D layer.
