Hoist copied properties

When you Create a geometry from a layer, Giraffe keeps the layer's original properties in a Copied From section of the Property Palette. Click Hoist to turn them into regular properties on the geometry. Values like parcel IDs, zoning codes, and lot areas can then drive your labels, analytics, and flows.

  1. Select one or more geometries you created from a layer.

  2. In the Copied From section, click Hoist.

🚨 Warning: a copied property with the same name as an existing property replaces that property's value.
