The Data Reports link in the Nonprofit Admin Portal dashboard provides a dropdown window with Line Items (All) and Custom Question Reports as options. Line Items (All) is an on-screen report with data on every payment made through your Give Lively pages. The Custom Questions Report only exists if you are asking any custom question on your campaign pages.
Clicking on either of these menu options will take you to the dedicated Give Lively Reports portal. From here you can:
Filter data related to your donations or Custom Question reports
Download CSV exports of the data even after it has been filtered
Bulk download every donation receipt sent to donors in your filtered view
Download individual receipts through the Expanded View
Line Items (All) Report
The Line Items (All) report contains all transactional data for your nonprofit. You will find data for both event ticket sales and donations received in here. To navigate to the Line Items (All) report, click the “Data Reports” link in the navigation bar and then select “Line Items (All)”.
When loading the Line Items (All) report, the default date range is automatically set to the past three months. To see donations further back, or during a custom period of time, you can adjust the date filter and click "Apply" which will refresh the report with donations under the new time set.
Bulk Export Receipts
Clicking the "Export Receipts" button will bulk download the donation receipts of every donation made according to the date filters you have set. These receipts are delivered in an email as a zip-file to the nonprofit admin that clicks. The email may take a few minutes to send, depending on file size. Just like downloading individual receipts, the time zone shown on the receipt will match what the donor has set in their Donor Portal.
Important: Bulk Export for receipts is only available for donations made from January 13, 2026 onward. Not available for Giving Basket donations.
Export Line Items (All) CSV
The default date range is set to the past three months. Data from other periods can be viewed by adjusting the date filters and clicking “Apply”. If a selected date range does not include any data, you will see an alert. Afterwards, click “Export CSV” to download the data which will be delivered by email.
NOTE:
All CSVs are downloadable through an link that is emailed to the nonprofit admin requesting the download.
The link in the email is available for 72 hours from the time the email is sent; if that time expires you must export a new CSV
If clicking the “Download My CSV Report” button in the email opens your file in a new browser tab instead of downloading the CSV file, try the following:
Right-click on “Download My CSV Report”
Select either “Save Link As” or “Download Liked File As”
Click “Save” to confirm your choice
Locate your downloaded CSV file on your computer
When downloading using a Safari browser, click the pop-up warning to allow downloads from Give Lively.
Expanded View
Clicking on any line in the report will load an expanded view of the donation with more information about it. The Expanded View also allows nonprofit admins to download donation receipts.
Important: Downloading a donation receipt is only an option for donations made from January 13, 2026 onward. Giving Basket donations cannot have their receipts downloaded.
Line Item And View Receipt
Clicking the "View Receipt" button opens a new page with a view of the donor's already emailed receipt. The receipt will look the same as what they received at the time of their donation. The time zone shown on the receipt will be the same one that the donor has set in their Donor Portal, too.
Clicking on the download button will download the HTML email file directly to your computer. The file name generated will reflect the Order Date (year/month/date) and Order Time of the donation, and then an underscore (_) followed by the Order ID.
Summary
The Summary contains basic information about the payment. It will include the donor's name, email, net amount, details about when the payment was made, as well as what name the donor wrote in for a dedication, if any. The timezone used is the one associated with the nonprofit, but UTC timezone is the default. You can set the timezone for your nonprofit at any time within the "Basic Information" section of the Core Profile
Donor
The Donor section displays the donor’s contact information.
Additional Details
The "Additional Details" section is currently useful for one purpose. Clicking on the "Edit Additional Details" button allows nonprofit admins to mark the currently viewed donation as anonymous. This will hide the donor's name from public view on the page the donation was made through.
Payment Details
The "Payment Details" section shows more granular details about the donation itself, such as what the transaction fee for the donation was, whether it was covered, and so on.
The timezone being used for the date shown in "Payment Succeeded Date" is the timezone associated with the nonprofit. UTC timezone is the default unless the nonprofit's address is specified by the IRS databases we reference. In addition to that, nonprofits may also set a definitive timezone in the "Basic Information" section of the Core Profile.
Disbursement
The "Disbursement" section shares unique alphanumeric identifiers associated with the disbursement of the donation. This section, however, will only be useful to nonprofits receiving checks through Giving Basket.
There are three possible screens, although only one will be visible for each donation:
Direct Disbursement
This will appear if the Give Lively donation was disbursed through Stripe or Paypal.
Checks
This will appear if the donation was disbursed via check from Give Lively to a nonprofit (only used for Giving Basket donations).
Transfers
This will appear if the donation was disbursed by Stripe transfer from Give Lively to a nonprofit (only used for Giving Basket donations).
Page and Referral Information
This section includes details about the fundraising tool and page from which the payment originated.
Giving Basket Reports
Nonprofits that have received donations through Charity Navigator's Giving Basket, powered by Give Lively, will also see menu items for three other on-screen reports:
Line Items (Giving Basket)
Transfers
Checks
These menu options won't appear for nonprofits who haven't received any Giving Basket donations.
Event Reports
While the Line Items (All) Report includes data on both donations and event ticket purchases, Event Pages have their own data export method just for ticket sales. It can be found by clicking on "Event Ticketing" on the navigation menu and then selecting the Event Page you want to download the data for. From there, click on the "Export" button next to "Export Attendee Data." This will send an email to the nonprofit admin that clicked on the export with a link to the CSV to download.
Important: This specific event page report will not include answers to Custom Questions that you have added through the "Additional Questions" tab. Only the Line Items (All) report includes the Custom Questions answers.
