If you're fundraising as part of a team on givestar, you can update your team page at any time. This includes the team fundraising target, description, banner image, and team name.
How to update your team page on givestar.io
Go to givestar.io and sign in
Go to Your Fundraising and select your fundraising page
Select your team to visit the team page
Click Edit Page
Update the relevant details — see below for what can be changed
Click Save to apply your changes
How to update your team page on the app
Open the givestar app and tap Fundraise in the bottom menu
Select your fundraising page
Select your team to visit the team page
Tap Edit
Update the relevant details
Tap Save
What you can update
Page name — update your team name as it appears on the page
Description — edit your fundraising story or add a team update
Banner image and team profile image— replace your team photo (recommended size: 820 × 312px)
Fundraising target — increase or decrease your target at any time, even after your page has gone live. Donors can see your updated target in real time.
Updating your fundraising target
You can change your team fundraising target at any point — there's no limit on how many times you update it.
If you've hit your target early, increasing it keeps momentum going and encourages more donations
If your circumstances have changed, lowering your target is completely fine
Your new target will show immediately on your page alongside the amount already raised
What can't be changed?
Charity — the charity your team is fundraising for cannot be changed once the page is live. See Can I change my charities once my page has gone live?
Team members — to add or remove team members, contact us at support@givestar.io
