Possible causes:
Terminal does not support contactless payment
Apple Wallet was not activated correctly
You held your phone too far away from the terminal
Solution:
Ask to try again and hold the phone closer to the terminal
.Make sure you use Face ID/Touch ID to authenticate
Double check that the card is selected as active in Wallet
