No, Glede works the same way as regular gift cards - you don't get your money back if the recipient doesn't use the gift.

But! We've done what we can to make sure the gifts are actually used 🎯

In 2022, we tested refunding unused gift cards. The result?

  • Most businesses wanted a lower fee rather than a refund

  • There was a lot of hassle with credit notes and bookkeeping

  • That's why we decided to stop the scheme - for now πŸ˜‰
