Now we'll show you how to request an extension on a gift card!
PS: If you have already extended a gift card in the past, or it has been more than 3 months since the gift card expired, then you need to contact customer service via our contact form for further assistance.
Step 1: Find your gift link
You should have received the gift link via:
E-mail
SMS
A QR code
A gift link
Open the gift link in your browser and go through the gift experience until you see the amount you have received.
Are you unsure what your gift link is? The gift link is the URL that leads to your gift, and it might look like this: https://glede.no/gift/abc123
The unique ID at the end of the link (for example "abc123") identifies your gift.
Click through the gift experience until you see the "How to use the gift card" button at the very bottom.
Step 2: Press the "Change phone number"
This button can be found under the "Need help?":
Go to the very bottom of the "How to use the gift card" section.
Tap the button "Request an extension".
Step 3: Enter Email and Explanation
Enter the email you want to be notified of the extension on.
Enter an explanation of why you need to request an extension.
Tap "Request extension".
Once this has been done, an assessment will be made as to whether the gift card will be extended, and you will be notified by email of the result fairly quickly!
If the Glede gift card is extended, you will be able to activate it in the Glede app.
What do you do if you get an error message?
If you see an error message, it's most likely because there's something wrong with the gift card that prevents it from being extended.
