Now we will show you how to request an extension on a gift card!
PS: If you have already extended a gift card before, or if it has been more than 3 months since the gift card expired, you need to contact customer service by sending an email to support@glede.app
Step 1: Find Your Gift Link
You should have received the gift link via:
Email
SMS
A QR code
A gift link
Open the gift link in your browser and go through the gift experience until you see the amount you have received.
Are you unsure what your gift link is? The gift link is the web address that leads to your gift, and it may look like this: https://glede.no/gift/abc123
The unique ID at the end of the link (for example, "abc123") identifies your gift.
Click through the gift experience until you see the button "How to use the gift card" at the very bottom.
Step 2: Click the "Request Extension" Button
You will find this button under the tab "Need Help?":
Scroll all the way down in the section "How to use the gift card"
Click the button "Request Extension".
Step 3: Fill in Email and Explanation
Enter the email you wish to be notified about the extension.
Provide an explanation of why you need to request an extension.
Click "Request Extension".
Once this is done, an assessment will be made about whether the gift card will be extended, and you will be notified by email of the result quite quickly!
If the Glede gift card is extended, you will be able to activate it in the Glede app.
What to Do If You Receive an Error Message?
If you see an error message, it is most likely because there is something with the gift card that makes it non-extendable.
